Denmark Flatware (8) Repousse Long Sipping Spoons Danish repousse outside tavern music scene, man with a fiddle, dog, etc., depicted on the bowl of each spoon. This lovely set is in mint set of (8) long handled sipping spoons hallmarked DENMARK with a 297 dolphin logo. Measurement: 8" Length. Spoon Bowl measurements: 1-1/4" x 1-1/2" L. Silver content is not indicated and are being sold as silver-plate. In my research I found a cigarette case with the same hallmarks 297 Spritzer & Fuhmann jewelers from the Dutch Antilles. The scene on the cigarette case is the same as on the spoons. Dutch hallmarks show that the dolphin marked was used 1859-1893 for dutch made articles of silver with content below .833 purity standard these, however, I feel were made during the early 1900 up to before the war. $139stock #SSDA-102
